  • Are you anemic? That causes bruising as well. I have to make sure i intake enough iron in my diet b/c I bruise easily.
  • I have that book & I use reg water if I don’t have the coconut. It works fine!

  • Basically use it in anything that you’d use oil, butter or fats. It makes great chocolate, fudges, smoothies, etc etc
  • My faves are Rawvolution as stated above and Rawsome by Brigitte Mars. Honestly though I get a lot of recipes off the net & off blogs. Many people post their faves from books. More economical and already have feedback from others.
  • Sadly no, sorry!

  • How when as of Sept 1 there are no “raw” almonds anymore. Unless they are leftovers prior to 9/1.

  • Parsley helps neutrilize odor, but if pregnant don’t use. It can bring on contractions.

  • I freeze them when they come into season. Then when I need one I leave it out on the counter to thaw and then juice it as I need it.

  • It should be fine in the fridge. Don’t worry!
  • I sprout in a quart canning jar w/ cheese cloth on top. Soak my seed, etc. for a day and then rinse and lay @ 45degree angle, rinsing 1-2 times daily until sprout is of size. They have sprouting containers, but you don’t need them.
  • Lucy- i will use almond catille by brommers when I’ve been out getting really dirty (on my quad) but only on the scalp and not a lot. Otherwise I just do water rinses and an occassional acv rinse.
  • I use stevia and love it, but a little definately goes a long way. I also grind my own mesquite powder, but in NM that’s not uncommon to have your own honey mesquite tree. Otherwise it’s agave or raw honey. Depends on the recipe though.

  • I don’t know if you’d consider it exotic, but I love prickly pear. I just harvested some today out of the yard—-yummo! I also like asian pears.
