  • I have juiced mature coconut before and the coconut cream doesn’t really solidify. I stuck mine in the fridge and it stayed pretty thick/creamy. Like you, maxinatux, I dehydrated the pulp and it turned out really great (albeit a little messy – flake…

  • My eyes have always been an olivey-gold-brown color. My younger brother, when he was a child, called them ‘autumn leaf eyes”. Well, since going raw, they look a very clear green color – the brown/gold centers seem to have diappeared. I chalked it up…
  • I’m so glad you asked this! We have concord grapes that grow all over our neighborhood. In the past, my neighbors and I have picked them to make into jelly, since they are quite sour raw. But this year, I was wondering what I could do to keep them r…

  • I guess I’m specifically wondering about tempeh. I mean it’s fermented, not cooked, right? And if the Mercola article is to be believed, then the bad things about soy products are evidently removed when soybeans are fermented…so is it okay to eat? D…

  • OI! My problem isn’t that my husband wants meat – he’s a vegetarian at least. The issue we have is that he thinks I’m ‘depriving’ the kids of classic childhood goodies – you know, corn dogs, buttery microwave popcorn, gummi bears – all those revolti…

  • I did feel amazing – for about a week. I began this whole adventure almost 4 weeks ago. I started with Natalia Rose’s detox, but soon realized that alternating the cooked and raw was making me feel gross. I actually spent a night throwing up non-sto…
  • I just got rid of the dryer sheets and use soap balls. My problem is that with two kids in the house, and all our sweaty, dirty clothes, nothing smells very ‘fresh’ when it comes out of the dryer. I’d love to add some essential oils to the wash, but…
  • When I first went raw my husband said I had a very strange odor, which I guess was just detoxing. It seems to be gone now, and I have since given up deodorant, perfume, and shampoo with no smelly side effects. When I use the bathroom, there is still…
