  • Wow, I guess I’m not the only one that messed up this weekend, lol. On Friday I ate a piece of cake at my friend’s birthday party, and on Saturday I had a bunch of fried scallop tempura, and felt HORRIBLE. I thought I was gonna die, and almost threw…
  • I’ve had this happen too!!! I got sundried tomatos with sulfur as a preservative because I couldn’t find any without, and it tasted bad and made me feel nauseated. But I soaked them in some filtered water for a while and made some tomato dressing in…
  • It’s not raw, but it’s fermented so it has lots of live enzymes and cultures in it, and it’s rich in B12. It’s important for raw food vegans to get B12 supplements; a lot of people use bee pollen.

  • I found Let’s Do Organic shredded unsweetened coconut at my local Hy-Vee for like TWO BUCKS , actually. I’ve never ordered food off the internet before, so I’m kind of hesitant to do that, I guess.
  • heyitsmahsa – No, I don’t usually eat a lot of Dagoba. I did the first few weeks I started out raw, because I was having these intense chocolate cravings. Now if I want chocolate I have some raw cacao nibs with some agave nectar. YUM!
  • For breakfast I had some green juice, for lunch I had diced avocado and mango sprinkled with sea salt and cayenne, and for dinner I had a Dagoba chocolate bar (not raw, but at least organic. and it had maca in it! yay!)
  • My staples are lots of salads with baby greens, and yummy homemade dressings… and sunflower seeds, avocados, bananas, pears, and apples…etc. also, mandelicious—sweet new picture!!
  • I’ve never tried putting a bell pepper in a sauce or dressing yet… I’m gonna try that soon.

  • I kind of want to get one from Amazon, since they’re on sale. It’s gonna take a while to save up for one.

  • Thanks!! I’m gonna make this with the Rich Cheddar Sauce for a sort of mac n’ cheese taste.
  • I lost 15 pounds in the first two weeks, which was awesome!
  • Ohh, I see. Thanks for the tip, I’m definitely going to check out Mountain Rose Herbs. I already bookmarked them. :)
  • Yeah, I usually eat only fruit in the morning, like an apple and a pear or some grapes. What do you mean by “used to be” excellent? Have those brands started adding toxic preservatives? D: Ahh, now I’m wondering what I should do to wash my hair. …
  • Thanks, Sabrina!!! I’ve been wanting to find an all-natural makeup brand. Dr. Hauschka looks pretty expensive, but not untouchable. Yay! Thanks for the lemon juice tip… do you actually juice the lemon?
  • Thanks, greenie! After I switched to raw and also found out that all of my bath products have toxic ingredients in them, I decided to keep using them anyway until they ran out. I didn’t want to waste money by dumping them in the trash, so I guess I’…
  • Yeah, usually when I tell people at my church about how I eat they think I’m weird/crazy/insane. Only two people actually thought that was kind of cool and didn’t look at me like I was a weirdo, haha.
  • Wow, this is really cool! I didn’t know there were many other raw Christians.
