  • ok, so I burnt my one cuisinart blender out. Still wasn't keen on shelling out several hundred dollars on a vitamix so I bought an Oster for $70.00 just to get me through until I could buy the vitamix. I have had it for 5 days and I absolutely hate …
  • I love kelp noodles. I have done them with an alfredo sauce, pesto, and a bruschetta type topping and have never been disappointed. Although I let them sit in a water, lemon, and oil mixture for a couple of hours and then I drain and rinse and then …
  • We know it will....patience comes to those that wait. Take your time, keep up the great work!
  • question is? Did they come out "smooth" too?
  • I have had psoriasis for about 15 years. It came on during a stressful period in my life. I have been raw for about 2 months now after being vegetarian for 12 years and vegan for the last 7. I am hoping to get some relief by changing to a raw food d…

  • I too, use the green bags and I think they work great. I wash and bag as soon as I get home. I have had fruits that usually go bad quickly last for weeks.
  • 1. Apples, Kale 2. Juicy ripe mango, guacamole 3. Apples, oranges, kale, baby spinach, beets, cukes, carrots…. Oh, I’m so boring but so happy…nothing complicated
  • I blend my greens and juice my fruits and veggies and then mix them together. My blender can’t handle alot of the harder fruits and veggies and my juicer doesn’t do greens so….until I hit the lotto and can afford the juicer I need this seems to work…
  • Hi rawcanadian, I don’t know how to import a link on this site (duh) but if you go to the forums page under other topics, on page two there is a thread called living water. Very very informative. Maybe somebody else might be able to import the link.…
  • Yes, that would be nice to know all edible parts of a plant. I would also like to know how to juice some different fruits and vegetables. Like which ones I can put in whole, which ones need to have skins removed, seeds, and what not. Like cantaloupe…
  • Is there anything in our profiles we can edit anymore? When are these updates going to take place. It has been over a month and I still can’t change my picture.
  • Wow, what time is dinner? I am so there. Maybe you could package the leftovers and send them my way!
  • Amen… stylestacey.. that’s all you have to do. Take control of “your” life.
  • I have been vegetarian since 1989 and vegan since 2001, my friends are used to my eating preferences. My transition to raw was easy. I graciously decline cooked food. I still encounter people that don’t “get it” but I still am able to just say no th…
  • Be strong Dogsuponhotcats…I personally think 95% or better raw is best. I strive for 100% and I reach that goal daily. My only problem is salad dressings in restaurants and I go for simple as possible and the occasional beer. Very rarely do I eat ou…
  • I just love to read the forums and search past threads. I have learned so much in the last month about raw food and everything else that goes with it. I knew (basics) of eating raw but this web site has inspired me so much. I learn from these forums…
  • Personally I am not offended by it but rather amazed. I don’t recall ever having other worldly encounters but I certainly would be open to it. I know they are there maybe I am just not perceptive enough to it although I want to think I am open to it…

  • Thanks, but I am in NY. I am going to do what Caleb suggested since I have a bottle of store bought in my fridge. When did you add the ginger, goji, and pom? Do you add it when you bottle it and do you let your bottles sit out a few days before you …

  • Not to mention the ignorance of the pig farmer that said his pigs like their gestation crates. “They can move forward and backward and look we even provide a nipple for their water” What a great farmer I am! He’s saying they don’t know any other way…
  • Wow, thanks for posting this information. At least there is no more guessing which ones are blanched and which ones are not. Thanks, Winona.
  • I think what you have is exactly what I have been dealing with for over a week. Nothing I ate seemed to help. Your symptoms are identical to mine. I still have a throaty cough but I feel good and I am just letting it run its course. The good part of…
  • I don’t have a good juicer for greens either, so I just usually put them in smoothies. A little bit of water and some greens you are good to go. Although, my other fav veggies and fruits I will juice and then add to the smoothie. Hope this helps.
