  • hmmm…i guess i am lucky but most people in my life are pretty accepting of my food and even want to do it themselves. I guess they are pretty similar to me though. (I live in a bit of a bubble in seattle.) It’s usually the names of things that can f…

  • i guess since i am severely allergic to wheat and eating a little bit can make me violently ill i was expecting something more dramatic. i thought it was funny how he encouraged me to get it and “cheat” because it tasted raw.

  • um, i have heard that you have to be careful eating raw food in mexico. have you thought of that?
  • it sounds like you are listening to your body. well done. if you have a cheap blender you can make some green smoothies. i find they give me the best energy and fullness with little prep, chewing, or calories for that matter.
  • i am curious why you think seeds are the best for you. how about greens?
  • angie, jeez I have not made any breads, just really crackers. i musta been out to lunch when i wrote that. actually, i have been making the cinnamon rolls which are kinda like bread in a way. and pumpkin seed crackers. well those are very soft unlik…
  • AKA—if you had to recommend just one of those books which would it be? I have read most of Carol Alt’s while I was in the bookstore and I have “12 steps to Raw” by Boutenko. amysue-we moved the toaster to make room for the dehydrator. our breads are…
  • oh, i was wondering what you were looking for at whole foods that you couldn’t find. i usually have to search because the good stuff is hidden at times. I saw the Chicago whole foods on “top chef”. it looked pretty nice.
  • xeno, that is awesome! i love your approach…get lots of yummy produce and eat it! i hope you love it. you are really going for it! i love the fridge pictures…i think we should all take one. as for almond butter, there are some issues with all almond…

  • people get very uncomfortable sometimes because they fear that you may be right but won’t be able to change themselves. also, i agree it is a complement to be considered a “radical thinker”. for most people don’t think, they just follow.
