  • I’ve never heard of raw in ten. Does anyone out there have it? What are your thoughts? Worth the buy? Almost sounds like a must have.
  • Thank you all for sharing. I’ve fallen off the wagon before and felt the difference before, just not this bad. Part of me felt that vegetarian was ok and I didn’t have to be sooooo raw but get real…what was I thinking. I guess part of it was all the…
  • I’ve been a runner for most of my life and can tell you it’s time to rest and YES, take time off. Every so often I injure my knees and they swell a little and even hurt when I walk, however, this subsides with a little rest, ace bandages and ice. Pr…
  • There are a few “on this site” that I like but if anything calls for celery, I omit it because I do not like how it tastes in a soup. Carrot Soup, Tuscan raw pear & zuchini soup, Cucumber Soup, Avocado & grapfruit Soup, Green Energy Soup

  • Ok, I gave up coffee as well and went through withdrawals which I could deal with but could not stand the constipation so decided to get rid of it slowly. Once the constipation kicked in I would have a cup to relieve it and then continue to kick my …
  • Orgfoodaddict, this post was in reference to something that happened to me. Yes, the MSM was pure. You can find the original post in this forum under Convulsions…NOT GOOD!

  • Winona…Thank you so much for that video. Talk about inspirational and just awesome! That is exactly what I needed to hear. Things were getting a little rough for me and that video just really set me on the right track again. Thanks! BTW, love the do…
  • Like the humor. Well I believe the body usually tells you what it needs when it needs it. Have you not been eating these things regularly? I don’t find a few days of gorging to be bad especially if your body is screaming for it. I would endulge a li…
  • Interesting topic. I personally would not use the word dogma. That’s very inflexible. I find most people on this site to be the opposite and though some may be more rigid than others, most seem to only want to challange themselves to be what they co…

  • There are awesome soups on this site. I blend them every week.
  • Raw_Chocoholic thank you. That would make total sense if I do not have an imbalance or the neurologist does not find anything wrong with me. I have an appointment tomorrow as well as a visit to get blood work done. I will be sure to mention my suppl…

  • Ok yippie, not a seizure. Doc said if that were the case he would put me in the hospital but he doesn’t feel that’s it. Doc said it seems like a chemical imbalance so have to get blood work done next week along with a neurological visit. Apparently …

  • I’m sorry, I should have mentioned the doctor was a no brainer and yes I have health insurance. I was just curious if this had happened to anyone based on the supplements I was taking or if there was any insight. BTW, what a pain getting into a doct…

  • gentlwolf, I do not mean to pry but have you been diagnosed as anorexic? Not that you have a eating disorder but because of your weight. As mandelicious said, this is concerning. I would have to say extremely concerning. My boyfriend is 6’3” 185 ath…

  • In reading a book by David Wolfe, he claims his website has raw nuts.
  • I never knew about this and have no problems eating watermelon with other fruits. I find it to be the most watery of all the fruits that I eat so it’s kinda strange that it would cause a problem.
  • The MSM I bought is a liquid in ultra purified water (TriMedica). It has a tiny taste to it but definitely not bad. Almost like a small pinch of salt in water. Which is the one with the bad taste? The powder? The one I have is 390mg/tsp and it says …

  • Ok, I’ll get on the nasty wagon. I go 2-3 times a day which is good but nothing that “fills the toilet” shgadwa…haven’t done that since I was eating cooked foods/meat all the time. So, I would have to wonder what exactly is proper sized raw poo. No …

  • ewww Luna blu, I just looked at a medjool date…looks funky. I take it I can get them raw? How do they taste? Is there a little pit inside? I’ll give it a try. Obviously must replace the raisins :( Any other substitute anyone can think of? I’ll be on…

  • winona, thank you! Trust me, sometimes I just do not want to get out of that bed but what motivates me is that if I don’t do it in the morning, I will have to do it after work and I do not want that. I used to work a 7-3:30 shift but now it’s 8-4:30…

  • honeygal, I would stick with it and and add more high calorie/fat foods to your diet. I wouldn’t overload though…you do not want to over-do it and feel sluggish. Besides, too much of a good thing can turn into something bad. Weight doesn’t come off …
