Fear of God is therefore a good thing. It will enable us to live sin-free lives. One can sin and offend God. Sin causes a person to be cut off from God. Keep your distance from sins at all times. We don't pursue bad things out of fear. It instills in us a healthy regard for things that are superior to us in size, power, and majesty. In addition, we should fear only god, not people. Keep this quote in mind at all times.
