  • I do not shop anywhere special. In fact I can rarely make it to a decent health store. I shop at the closest place, and occasionally buy things online. I do not consider a dehydrator or super-blender as a nessecity. It might make things easier, but …
  • pianissima beat me to it. lol
  • Well whatever you don’t want/use you could sell at a farmers market, or donate to a local homeless shelter. I thought of this as well. I think most of my extras will go to family, otherwise I’ll give it to a homeless shelter. But with the way it kee…
  • I think b12 would be the only thing you’d have to worry over if you eat a variety. :)
  • I think you misunderstood the point of my questions and even my statements. Which is my own fault for being so bad with words. This is one of those times when I am thankful for my most beloved human, as they always understand exactly what I mean eve…
  • Sorry if this topic has offended anyone, I was just stating and genuinely questioning a few things. :)
  • this is a good point. I had mentioned it (Sort of haha I get off track), when I mentioned I like the idea of not killing the plant like fruitarians do, and just having the fruit. I was just saying in so many words people are not grateful for the pla…
  • I like Zoe, Pianissima, and angies answers very much. Of course I am sure someone assumes I am a raving mad meat eater. Quite the opposite. I am merely questioning why plant life means less than others. It’s understood we have to eat something. The …
  • I think what actually started all this is that I met the first plant that had a generous vibe and didn’t seem to mind and actually wanted me to pick it…I got these two lavender plants a few days ago among others. the others I looked at and felt regr…
  • As you mentioned..It CAN grow back if done properly. If. And lizards’ arms grow back. Not that I am saying I would want to eat one, I’m only questioning why it’s alright to eat the arm of a plant but not a lizard arm? I think it has to do with guilt…
  • Well it’s hard to say. Depends on my budget for that month, but spend between 45-120$ for two people. Varying month to month on what comes up, and some months I have to cut down to 55-75% raw (Raw is generally cheaper or as cheap as other food, EXCE…

  • I just quit worrying about what people think altogether. Everyone thinks something. It used to bother me more when family misunderstood, because I love them. All it does is stress me. Even if I could please one person, someone else would have a prob…
  • It also may depend on how clean you are. I noticed I urinate more (and in the night alot) when my body is getting rid of extra toxins.
  • Like Suryadaya said drinking a large glass in the morning gets some out of the way. And if you make smoothies you generally add water to that and it counts. Although fruits and vegetables do have water, I still don’t think going “dry” is good, espec…
  • After detoxing, there is no way your body cannot respond to all the vitamins, minerals, enzymes, probiotics and living energy! If you eat properly(meaning not living solely on drizzled agave, cacao nibs and nut cheesecake), your body will be gatherin…
  • I never add salt when I pickle. Partially because at the moment there is no where to buy raw salt close by. I just use citrus juice or 9 parts vinegar 1 part water and refridgerate it. I have used 3/4 vinegar 1/4 water as well. I suppose this will b…

  • I know I just read a recipe elsewhere with turmeric, but I cannot remember where. I will post it if I find it. I would be experimenting with raw indian food if I had some. I may experiment without the fresh though. I have been meaning to.

  • Mine was due to taste, not that my body didn’t like the reaction. It loved the way it made it feel, it just didn’t enjoy the flavour. I think tongues are deceiving. Today, a full teaspoon, no problems. AHH it feels good in the body.

  • I just had a flash of a vibe, that I think came from you, and it was nice. I couldn’t even begin to describe it, or even analyse it properly when it came. I’ll shut up now.

  • Using less water is a good idea, it’d be less to drink! I can chug, but 1tsp. in a cup of water made me never want to eat again. Apparently it gets better. The mint is a good cover for now. I did feel amazing after I took it, it was just the taste. …

  • I didn’t use agave, just plain mint tisane. Thank You very much!! Oh how that mint helped. I still only got 1/2 a teaspoon down, but something is better than nothing. I put bits into my smoothies too, so it adds up. Again, thank you it was a brillia…

  • I’m actually glad i reread your post. it made me find that link and that link reminded me to get some mullein. It grows right in my garden. So thank you for posting this:).
  • I use nettle tea in mine sometimes. I think I am iron and zinc deficient, so I bought some on my last order to the above mentioned online herb store. So you know, a 4oz. bag of nettle will last a long time, if you end up buying it. :) I also bought …
  • yes 4oz. is 1/4 a pound. I like mountainroseherbs.com because they do give alot of in depth information, and their organic/wild crafted/sustainability/fair trade. I would suggest buying glass jars or putting them in your own glass jars, I left mine …
  • Rawkincake, Kale is what keeps me from eating alot of sweets. Keep eating it and try to fit it in where ever possible(same with the GOOD fats like your avocado). Also..The frozen fruit and/or nut ice cream post above is no joke.I had some pineapple …
  • I love “Dark Shadows”. My roommates and I all pitch in and buy one set a month. Growing up, I loved the old Star Trek, Batman and Robin (show and comic),other vintage comics, and “the Hobbit” cartoon and book. Loads of geeky things. I also collect w…
  • Adding in more spices and eating smaller, more frequent meals, helps your metabolism. Kelp and Apple Cider vinegar as well. :)
