  • Hey Durainrider when did anyone say on this post that fruit is dangerous? If you don't know of any fruitarians than how could you possibly say that we are wrong anyway? I know of only two fruitarians and the both look terribly malnourished. Tabbycat…

  • Yep sister is correct. The issue is that generally fruit has pretty low mineral content and eating only fruit can lead to mineral deficiency and is simply dangerous.

  • tabbycats are you saying you have been fruitarian for 3 months? Have you had any blood tests? I heard that if you don't do it properly than fruitarianism can be somewhat dangerous.

  • Also why do you always seem to have some room mate or best friend that gets some disease or dies when you need an example to prove someone wrong?

  • Durianrider do you honestly want to use the china study as an example of low fat diets being healthy? The china study is flawed as f**k and if you read it or understand it than you would know its complete bull. Aajonus is not a raw paleo, he is a pr…

  • I hate the misconseption that if you eat fat you will be fat. Raw paleo dieters eat up to 80% fat and they lose weight! You want fat in your diet. If your gaining weight its due to excess sugar. Eat some nuts, avacado, coconut what ever you need to,…

  • I would much rather do a juice fast. Besides the master cleanse is not raw and in my mind its just not healthy.

  • Your statement is true however most of the zero carbers that i know about do it for health purposes and they seem to be doing great.
  • Yes it says theoretically but people do it and are living...
  • No, dehydrating in no way effects the type of energy source in food... it literally just takes water out of it. I agree that carbs are over hyped.
  • Kitty when did I ever say go eat some meat its good for you? One of the earlier replies by sciencequeen said that your body requires 45g of sugar a day...I disproved it by giving an example...Seeing as theres pretty much no group of people that i kn…
  • Heres a good article on the subject. http://www.ajcn.org/cgi/content/full/75/5/951-a And by the way im not trying to promote meat in anyway. However when I want to disprove something and the best answer disproving it is using a meat diet as an examp…
  • According to most testimonies people on carnivorous diets actually have better mental clarity along with other supposed health benefits.
  • Anybody on a carnivorous diet proves my point? I know plenty of people that eat only meat. No fruit, no honey, no sugars or carbs at all. Your body converts protein into glucose for your brain.
  • sciencequeen your completely incorrect sorry but its simply been disproven.
  • Your brain requires very little glucose to operate. Carnivores (humans on carnivorous diets) are able to produce glucose for your brain to operate fully and some even report it functioning better than on a diet with carbs.
  • Just about any fruit or vegetable you eat is going to be hyrbidized. Heres some info about hybrid fruit. http://frugivorelifestyle.com/Hybridized.html

  • Lilburger how long have you been raw vegan because generally raw vegans lose weight pretty easily.
  • You absolutely need more calories, at very most your eating 1000 calories. Everyone needs more calories than that, but it depends on how large of a person you are.
  • How do they have b12 are they not washed and full of dirt or something? Plants dont produce b12.

  • I was a raw vegan for some time and was when I joined this forum. And even though im a raw paleoist now I still know tons of info on raw veganism so I just post stuff. But i don't post about eating meat.
  • Yah all a scale does is weigh your total body weight which includes things you just put in your body aka water and fruit which are both pretty dense. So if you eat 4 pounds of food you will temporarily weigh an extra 4 pounds. But very few people ar…

  • M42 the closest living relative to humans when it comes to our digestive system is the capachin monkey. They eat aproximately 50% flesh and 50% plant.

  • Well in produce there isn't much protein to begin with but whats usually left over after juicing is the plant fibers.
  • Don't worry about the saturated fats, the myth about them has been busted several hundred times over. Another thing you could do is soak the coconut.
  • No need for it. Do you have any sources of raw goji berries? They are a complete source of protein. Also soaked nuts are good sources of protein

  • I personally dont believe in the 80/10/10 diet which only allows 10% of your calories to come from fat, so splurge a little on nuts and seeds if you want. As for the dehydrated foods, Ive heard that its harder to digest for some, because you body ne…
