• don’t juice an orange or blend an orange whole! the inner peel under the zest is toxic! lemons are fine to juice whole, but not oranges. i don’t know about other citrus fruit.

• well i’m not sweetpea, but i can tell you why. eggplants are naturally very bitter. soaking them in the salty water will remove the bitterness so it tastes better. =P altho, i’m guessing it also helps to soften the eggplant since it’s a little hard.…
