  • I found out later that Bacillus Cereus actually only occurs in meat/dairy, sorry for the scare. Dates aren’t exactly diet food, so if you’re worried, reduce consumption. beany, never heard of organic dates? wow, maybe it’s only a southern thing…....…

  • Normally, if they are organic dates w/o added sugar, they aren’t steamed,( probably due to Bacillus Cereus overgrowth possiblities—scary stuff) careful of prepackaged dates though.

  • First of all, mature coconut water sucks (to me anyway). Also, the meat is hard and can’t be blended or processed easily. Try dipping dehydrated coconut chunks (mature) in a cacao/agave/coconut oil mixture and put in the fridge until firm. delish!!
