  • I’m experiencing the same thing. The first two months that I was vegan I had really light periods. But I haven’t had one since I’ve become raw (almost 3 months). I’m also an endurance athlete and I know sometimes that can throw the cycle off too. I’…

  • I agree with the eat when you’re hungry method. I am an athlete so on days I do a long run, like today, I pretty much eat all day long. Hahah.

  • I have those bins also but they specifically saw raw on them. If it doesn’t say raw, then it’s probably not. Also look for key words like roasted or salted, etc… If you’re still not sure it can’t hurt to ask.

  • CTcyclist, I got mine at Target for $40. It’s a Black and Decker also and it works just fine. I use it probably 3-5 times a day. I’m sure it will last a while if I take good care of it.

  • I am training for a marathon so I do between 20-40 miles a week. However I love to cross-train and I do spinning, kickboxing, yoga, and weights. The yoga has helped so much it’s not even funny. I am more flexible, my balance is better, and my strain…
  • Well, I’ve done a lot of reading about being vegetarian, vegan, etc. What I found most interesting regarding B12 was in Fit For Life by Harvey Diamond. He explains it very well. First of all, the amount of B12 we need is extrememly minute. It is mea…
  • I have had a similar experience. I’ve only been raw for two weeks and at first all I wanted to do was make dessert items… which used a lot of nuts and cocoa. But now I love making salads, especially with kale, and using my juicer! BTW one day my loc…

  • Hey everyone. I have been raw for about a month now and honestly this whole deadlist thing.. it’s a little too extreme for me. It might be great for some people but the rawfood lifestyle is about improving all qualities of life including freeing you…
