Why are you eating raw food?
I am eating raw food in order to combat my Fibromyalgia, improve my health in general, and lose weight.
How long have you been?
I began my raw food diet about six weeks ago. The first two weeks were healthful fasting. The last month has been a transition period. I am eating about 80% raw. It would be 100% but I am falling for some of my old cooked foods that provided me comfort. Luckily not too often.
How do you feel differently now?
The Fibro is still pretty active--painful. But, as my neighbor said, it will take time. In the meantime, I have noticed some fantastic side effects of eating raw. My hair is much more manageable and the gray is going away. My skin is greatly improved and I don't look old and aged (which is what disease begins to do to you after a while). And--Yes, I have lost 16 pounds!
