Energising smoothies

Hi all,

A friend of mine takes an interest in my raw way of life and has started making herself smoothies.

She works with me full time but then every evening and on weekends is an aerobics instructor. She's feeling like she is lacking in energy and wanted me to recommend smoothies she could have in between classes and after work that would perk her up and fuel her body.

Has anyone got any great recipes for smoothies that they have when they need that 'extra boost'?

    That's a very good point durianrider. What you've eat the day before does make a huge difference.

    One of my favorite smoothie recipes comes from Sarma's 'Living Raw Food'. Its called a SweetTart smoothie. I'm not sure on exact measurements..

    c of pineapple

    very small banana

    dash of vanilla and pinch of sea salt
