This has been a controversial topic amongst the raw food leaders. How many of you take vitamins, minerals, enzymes, glyconutrients, fish oil…since being a raw fooder for awhile? Do you think they help? Are they necessary, in your opinon? I read a lot about the nutritional deficiency of the soil. Does this happen with organic, small farm produce or is it factory farmed produce that is nutritionally depleted (according to studies)? I quit most supplements except for one I take for detox, Modifilan, and spirulina, which I consider to be food. Actually, both are seaweed. I haven’t noticed any detrimental effects for several months without vitamins, et al. Any thoughts?
