What is a subsitution for nutritional yeast ?

I have seen a few interesting recipes to try, however, many suggest nutritional yeast. Unfortunately, this ingredient does not sit well with me. In my research I have seen almonds and beer yeast as a suggestion. Just wondering if you know of other options. Really looking forward to making a cheese recipe before Christmas. I am new to the forum, thought to through my question out there and see what happens !
