sprouting fresh beans/peas?

i am curious about sprouting fresh beans/peas. my home sprouting experience includes dried beans/lentils. baby lima beans are available at my local farmer’s market and i have enjoyed them cooked in the past. also, green peas and other varieties of peas become available in the fall. any thoughts?

They’re like flower seeds, they need to be dry or else they’ll rot before they sprout.
