Raw asparagus

Never had it and was wondering how some of you prepared it!

  • Hi! I made it with lemon juice, olive oil and a little garlic to marinate. It lasts a couple days. You can slice it into little pieces or keep it whole. Lime is also good, dill or celery seeds.

    You can make a marinated salad with it and thinly sliced zuchini, yellow squash, green onion, red onion, black olives , tomatoes.

    If you make noodles with a “cream” sauce just throw them on the top- with a little basil and spinach. Crimini mushrooms are great on this. They are high in zinc and not as expensive as portobellas.

    Include parsley, dandylion greens, and artichoke to a little salad to help clean out your system. They are blood and liver purifiers. The parsley is great in tabouli. I have a recipe with tabouli.

    I think cream of asparagus soup is nice.
