yes. i think it was popularized by ann wigmore in the hippocrates diet. it is made from soaking sprouted wheat berries in water for a few days. you get this fermented LIQUID that add a little bacteria to your raw cheeses.
it’s always made me a little queasy though. i’ve tried making it twice.
oh, it’s good for your colon, that’s it’s raison d’etre.
You can make it yourself too. I am sure you can find a recipe online.
You can use it make things tangy. But probiotics work just as good to do that.
