Suggestion: Listing the Forum

Hi Ray & Kandace~ ...love the website!!!

I have a suggestion… On the home page where it lists the active chat, include the Forum the topic is being discussed. It might look like:

Gone Raw: Suggestion: Listing the Forum

(latest by Bluedolfin)

or

Suggestion: Listing the Forum (Gone Raw)

(latest by Bluedolfin)

or

Suggestion: Listing the Forum

Gone Raw (latest by Bluedolfin)

For me, sometimes it is hard to track down a discussion if isn’t listed on the home page. I don’t tend to notice what forum is listed in the message itself.

Just a thought…

  • I had a similar thought a while ago. I like that idea.

Also, the Delicious Chocolate Orange Brownie recipe is changing the layout of the website. The active discussions appear near the bottom, under the Latest News sections and Favorite Recipes. It’s the URL in the recipe that seems to be causing this. Not sure if anyone else has this problem. Of course, this is on windows/IE. I was on the Mac this mornig… and I saw that recipe there… I don’t recall if it was a problem there.

  • Bluedolfin: Thanks for the idea. In the meantime, you can click on the title straight from the home page and get brought to that particular discussion right away.

germin8: Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, by the time I checked, the brownie recipe was no longer on the home page. Actually, that’s good – lots of new recipes today!

Thankx Kandace~ BTW, awesome job that you and Ray are doing!!! My main reason for requesting that the Forum be listed when a discussion is in the Active area is that when it isn’t listed there, there is a memory of where to look for it. I hope that is clearer about the purpose of the suggestion.
