Hello hello. I’m 23 and live near St. Louis. I’ve been veg off & on for a few years & have now dedicated myself to vegetarianism, preferably vegan. I aspire to be a raw foodie and am trying to learn as much as I can. I think I bought out the raw section at Borders…seriously :) I just need support thru the transition. My husband and sister-in-law are the only 2 around me who understand my need for change. Even though my husband is not a vegetarian, he made his first raw meal the other nite so I had food after work (so sweet!). The midwest is very “eat your meat” so I know it’ll be challenging…but worth it, right? For those of you starting out…stay with it & be strong, and for those of you who have transitioned already, keep doing what you are doing. I hope to be like that someday soon!
