    Packaging makes a huge difference, that much is clear. But it's not always so cut and dry a positive difference. The plastic that keeps the food from spoiling is also responsible for your (pl.) ailing health. 

    "Different chemicals can leach from our plastic water bottles, knives and dermatologic products to enter our bodies. These compounds are linked to serious health issues such as endocrine disruption, weight gain, insulin resistance, decreased reproductive health, and cancer." - United Nations Development Programme

    On the other hand, you can improve the taste and life-giving ability of food by storing it in vitalizing containers - e.g. storing fluids in egg-shaped containers (like gourds), storing it near magnetic substances like magnetite, near orgonite, crystals, etc.
