I’m fairly new to being raw, but have been reading and researching quite a bit over the last 6 months or so.
I’m enjoying the simplicity of the food, so I’m sticking with my blender and juicer for now.
I do have a question regarding how much to eat. In other posts, many experienced Raw-eaters suggest newbies such as myself to ‘listen to your body’. I have listened and I eat the following each day:
1 litre blended frozen fruit with water and 2 tsp. honey
large leafy green salad with fruit and occasionally some nuts or dates
2-3 pieces of fresh fruit
large salad or blended soup (gazpacho usually)
2-3 litres of water each day No salad dressings, no white food
In the last 10 days, I’ve gained 3 pounds!!
If I was in it only for the weight loss, I would have jumped off this ship days ago. But I am feeling great, lots of energy, my skin looks fab-u-lous!!! Still, I’m trying to figure out why I am gaining weight…am I not eating enough?? I’m certainly not eating too much!
Any ideas would be appreciated.
