Hi all,
I’ve just been put on a fairly restrictive diet by my specialist to manage my psoriasis. All of a sudden my fridge is full of contraband & I have no idea how to go about introducing the healthy foods I need, in a way that I can make a staple part of my diet. I love the idea of bringing home bunches of raw leafy greens, but short of muching them ‘as is’ from the bunch, how on earth do I make a meal?
I have found myself woefully unprepared for life in the ‘raw’ lane.
I’m hoping that I can pick up some easy, tasty and healthy recipes that don’t contain the foods from my no-go list, or which can be modified to suit.
My list of Naughty foods include (but not limited to):
No tomatoes, eggplant (and anything else from the nightshade family) chillies, peppers, spices, citrus, berries, grapes, pineapple, potatoes, lentils, wheat, oats, rye, barley and most nuts.
I really need to increase my vege and leafy green food intake. Please help!

Thanks Germin8,
Psoriaisis is a skin condition more closely related to the auto-immune system. Some foods trigger an imflamation response in the body (different blood groups react with different foods).
I think I am also going to have to add mushrooms to my no-go list. =o(
I’ll check out the site now
