Are they truly raw?
yes. but i stated that already
truly raw cashews are pretty hard to come by. they have to be opened by hand by the manufacturers (instead of using heat). i’ve come across some “raw” cashews before, and after asking a few questions, found out they were far from it. the purple dots are probably an indication that you should not be putting those nuts in your body lol
I should probably be asking David Wolfe about this, but if we buy his so called really raw cashews, how do they succeed in removing the very toxic cardol oil from them without heat? Anyone?
The way they do it is to spread them out in the sun for 2 or 3 weeks, which dries up the liquid between the two layers. I forgot what they do after that, but I’ll look it up again and come back:-)
