Can you get food poisoning from raw nuts? Soaked, raw or otherwise?

    The odds are against it. You can get food poisoning from anything that has e-coli or other bad bacteria, pathogens or viruses on it, but IMO the likelihood of getting it from nuts is pretty slim.

    Investigate your sources. Companies like Blue Diamond are pigs and store their nuts near feces, this is how their food is infected. Clean people equals clean food.

    Blue Diamond—that must be why California is calling for all their almonds to be PASTEURIZED. Gross! Thanks for the info, I must have gotten sick from something else.

    OH, yeah, I stopped eating the dirt that Blue Diamond put out many, many years ago, before any news. Very bad food. Disgusting company.
