Recently my old blender (seriously its really old) has been making a weird/annoying high-pitched noise (which im sure my roommates and neighbors aren’t too happy about either) and in general not blending as well. It was a good blender though and I like that it has a glass pitcher. Anyway im looking to buy a new one and I was thinking about a Cuisinart one as they are more in my price range and have the glass pitchers. So I was wondering if anyone has one and how they like it. And if you could recommend one of them. Thanks! =)

Oh I would love to have the power of a vitamix but I just can’t afford that right now. I was looking for one under $100 and more around $70-80.

I have an Oster Blender and it works great! In your price range too. Never have any problems blending greens or anything:)

Thanks for the info Karmyngirl. Can I ask how long before the burned out? Im really just trying to get one that will last until May when I go home for summer.

Thanks Karmyngirl. Now I just don’t know what to do! I guess I could try to keep using the one I have but only use it when no one is home, as it is so loud now and takes much longer to blend. Then maybe this summer I can save up for a good blender.

Thanks Bluedolfin I will be giving that a try later today! I personally don’t mind the noise I just don’t want to annoy my roommates too much!
