pantyhose as a nut milk bag

I bought some pantyhose to use a a nut milk bag, and I know I should boil them first, but after that how should I cut them? Like just cut one of the legs off?

im thinking that because panty hose are such a synthetic material that you wouldn’t put anything hot through it or anything to acidic..might leak some of the chemicals into your juice.

Can you just get the paint strainer bags at hhome despot or some such?

I use panty hose or the tea towels that my grandma cross stitches. All i do is wash the pantyhose in hot water, and don’t squeeze to hard. The thing with panty hose is that you can never get all the residue off of it, so you have to get new ones often. But yes just cut a leg off. The tea towels work great because you can squeeze as hard as you want and than i just throw them in the washing machine with no detergent.
