Candle or kemiri nuts

Hi,

I just purchased some kemiri nuts and I was wondering if they can be eaten raw. I ate a bit of it already and I got nausea but I’m also down with the flu so I’m not sure. Does anyone have any experience with it? Thanks a lot for inputs.
