Newbie to Board and Raw

Hello,

I am very new and have a few questions…I am an ethical and health Vegan for 4 months….I live in a cold area…is the raw lifestyle possible for the New England, New York or Jersey area? Just wondering…Thank You! Mags

    Hi, I also live in upstate New York. I’ve been mostly raw for two weeks. My goal is to be 100% raw and make this a permanent lifestyle change. We do have a health food store in my city that I have been able to buy most items from. I am planning on starting my own garden this summer which I am so excited about. I am going to try and contact local farmers through the Farmer’s Market in the city and see if I can buy bulk from them. I am finding this to be a bit expensive since many items are not in seaon, and I am the only one in my house eating raw. I am looking for any good sites that might sell raw nuts since I am finding those to be the most expensive. I’m really happy and excited to have found this site as I have not talked to anyone yet who also eats raw.
