I used a sprouter like that GEO for a number of years. It has its some drawbacks. The main one is that you can’t rinse away the seed hulls from your sprouts very well. I prefer to use a large container with interchangeable filters like this one available in Canada: http://www.rawnutrition.ca/html/biogerme_sprout… Maybe you can find something similar in the U.K.
I have one like the GEO. It does really well. However since I am eating more and more sprouts and varying the types, I have opted for the Freshlife Automatic Sprouter. I haven’t used it yet as it just came in yesterday and I am out of seeds…. Now I have to go get some more seed.
Thanks for sharing experiences!
I now make sprouts with jars or just plates, it is not very comfortable, and i think i definitively will buy one, I’ve seen some made in “terracota” i’ll try that or one like geo (made in plastic, isn’t it?)
F.Y.I The sprouter mentioned in previous post is now available for worldwide shipping on ebay. To find it just do a search for Biogerme Sprouter.
I use one like the GEO but mine only has three levels and has lids. It is called the Biosta sprouter and makes watering so easy!
