Okay, well, I’m on one right now. The minimum is ten days. You drink a lemonade mixture and for eliminations you drink salt water and laxative tea. I don’t think you are allowed to continue taking anything outside of the lemon drink, which is lemon juice, cayenne, and maple syrup. It is recommended that you get the book and read it before starting out on the cleanse. hey thanks. I will probably do this in a few weeks as I have my mothers birthday on April 19, and my husbands on the 26. I don’t want to sit there drinking lemon water while they eat real food. Might be a bit of a challenge!!
Oh yes, that would be a challenge. Good luck with it! Oh and the first few days are really the hardest. It gets alot better after that :)
When I did the master cleanse a month and a half ago, I transitioned into it with a 2 day juice fast. It was sooo much easier because when I would get the bad food cravings at the beginning, I could have some sort of juice that would satisfy the craving (i.e. I craved pasta so I drank a tomato/vegetable juice). By the time I got on the lemonade, the bad food cravings and hunger pangs (aka I’M STARVING!!!) had passed.
