Greetings Gone Raw!
I am new to raw eating and have not made the complete leap yet. One change I did make however, about a week ago, is to eliminate diet soda from my diet. I replaced it with lemon water…about 3 liters per day.
I bought pure organic lemon juice and combine 1/4 cup juice with 30oz water. The results have been astonishing! Beyond my wildest expectations. With no change in my diet or training regimen I’ve lost about 6 pounds and feel great.
So my questions are…what exactly has been happening? And, should this be considered a normal type of response to this type of change? Thanks for any ideas.

First, your sugar content has gone way down. Also, lemon is known to wake up the metabolism.
Stylistchick is that the Green lemonade? lemon,apple,kale,celery??I have been juicing every morning and I really love the tast but apple,lemon seems so much quicker…I’m going to try I have tried mixing lemon with water and I get heartburn has anyone else exper this? same as orange with water something dosen’t sit well with me but that sounds wonderful. I also might try the warm water with lemon in the morning!
