Nutritional info for sprouted/soaked things

I need to keep an accurate count of the carbs in the food I eat to match my insulin. I’ve started sprouting a lot of stuff, but don’t know how to find the nutritional content of all things sprouted. Everyone seems to mention that once sprouted, the makeup of the sprouted thing changes. Unfortunately, my digital scale has no option of figuring carbs sprouted goodies. Anyone have any actual info? I’m also interested in keeping track of protein and fat so the more knowledge, the better.

Thanks!

  • I think if you try nutritiondata.com, you should be able to find information on most of the sprouts. It took me a little while to find them through the search, but I finally figured out that you have to type “sprouted” instead of “sprouts” in order to find anything. So instead of typing “alfalfa sprouts” you would type “alfalfa sprouted.”

    Good luck!
