i am very new to raw, but have always been conscious of my fat intake. Now that I am raw, I am eating nuts (about 1/2 cup a day) and avocados (1 a day max) and finding myself thinking about the fat content. In a former life, I NEVER would have eaten that much fat in a day and while I am trying to breathe and relax, I am still thinking about it.
For dinner tonight, I am eating the broccolli slaw with cashew mayo and keep finding myself thinking “man, that’s a lot of fat in there…” I know I have to retrain my mind to think of these foods as pure and that they pass through my system, and in truth, I don’t think I am overdoing it.
Any advice to get over this mild obsession?
