Ice Cream Question

I’d like to make a creamy ice cream without cashews ( I’m allergic ) and without bananas as well.( I love them but the results still taste more banana-y than ice creamy. Any recipes would be appreciated. Thx!

Young coconut based is my favorite. I hate cashews – understand your allergy, and love banana ice cream too, but yes, it tastes like banana soft serve and not like ice cream. Young coconut meat has a subtle coconut flavor, so it won’t interfere at all with whatever flavor you want it to be – like vanilla. Check out my Creamsicle Ice Cream

You can replace the orange juice with seeds from half a vanilla bean for vanilla ice cream, 1/2 cup fresh strawberries (cut the outer area where the seeds are and the bottoms off) for a delicious strawberry ice cream, and a tablespoon of cacao powder for the popular chocolate ice cream. You can even add mint and stir in some chocolate chips – there are so many variations.
