Welcome to the first couple weeks of our long, long awaited summer. We were pondering what to bring to the table for this Summer’s first special raw dinner, and the answer was oh so easy: a meal centered around all of the gorgeous purple, red and black jewels that are gleaming everywhere in the bright, hot sun: the peerless Washington Berry.
Our lovely triumvirate of kitchen lasses – Alicia, Diane and Head Chef Lois (we might invite Arthur too) – have conceived a delightful menu that balances the sweetness of the berries with savory, tart and spicy aspects. As always, we will source these berries from small, local and organic farms that make it their life’s work to create the best berries you can find anywhere.

Amuse Fresh Young Coconut Juice with Golden Raspberries
First Course Julienned Spinach Salad with Hazelnuts and Red Raspberries or Strawberry- Lovage Bisque
Main Course Sprouted Lentil and Quinoa Loaf with Broccoli, Strawberry-Sweet Pepper Relish, and Shoyu Pumpkin Seeds or Butter Lettuce Wraps with Raspberry-Miso Dipping Sauce and Stuffed Heirloom Tomatoes
Dessert Bing Cherry Chocolate Cheesecake or Blueberry Crème Parfait
