just clean up those conventionally grown products and give it a go! and urge your local grocery store to carry organic and look up local farmers!
i just found this resource too: http://www.eatwellguide.org/i.php?id=Home
Yes! It’s definetly worth it! Get a vegie wash (They should sell this in your grocery store, it’s lemon based) wash your veggies as good as you can, and have at it.
Because the truth of the matter is, the produce section in all grocery stores is the only part that has real food!
P.S. You might want to think about starting a small business that supplies organic food!
You would have next to no competition! Just a thought.
Washing your fruits/veggies is great but the reality is the pesticides they use are most likely already infused into the fruit/veggies. Bananas are okay becaise they have a really hard skin, anything with a thick, tough, outer layer should be okay if not organic
