I have a ton of pineapple sage growing and have no idea what to do with it! Please help!

  • Out of curiosity is this sage crossed with pineapple? Sounds like a sweet sage, right? Without much cleverness on my part I’d just toss it into a salad with spinach, avocados, tomatoes, hempseeds, a touch of lemon and some flaxseed oil. If not a salad, maybe a green smoothie? Good luck.

Pineapple sage is one of my favorite herbs! It’s beautiful and the scent is heavenly. I use it for tea. I believe it can steep even in just warm water if you’re not wanting the leaves to get cooked. I dry them for the winter but use fresh in the summer.

The leaves have a lovely flavor but are very coarse so if you put them in a salad or fruit salad just make sure they’re totally shredded
