Tomatoes not organic????

Wondering, I have been VERY VERY busy this year and my garden is a disaster when I wanted it to be the best on the street. I mainly only have greens to pick. Organic stuff is very expensive… hopefully I can get tomatoes organic at teh farmers market soon.

Anyone use conventional tomatoes??? They do not taste as good, I am sure.

    I would probably only buy non-organic tomatoes if they were local and i could talk to the farmer. otherwise yup they taste awful.

    Non Organic. laden with herbicides, pesticides, and any other cides. Surely one must be able to taste the cides, since it is still on them and in them.

    A lot of the tomato crop is genetically engineered. Best to go organic with that one.

    A lot of the farmer’s market people who are otherwise organic are not careful about where they get their seed. You need to ask about that.
