Looks like it’s quite a potent fruit with a number of health benefits. Maybe this link will get you started. Looking forward to your recipe posts for this.

Why don’t you just enjoy them whole? That’s what I would do if I got such a unique fruit like that. One idea, though (I got it from Naked Juice) is to blend 3/4 a peach with half a mangosteen, 1 cup of apple juice, a handful of white grapes, and a little lemon juice. I drink the pasteurized Naked Juice for this flavor and it’s pure delicacy, and probably even better raw.
Wow these are great ideas, I googled them too and found a link, which is kinda just telling you what to do with them, like you said RawKidChef, just eat them! Actually, i’m gonna go try one now.. Yum, sweet juicy segments, a bit like peeled satsumery grapes/lychees.
I found them in chinatown, along with my first young coconuts and durian, yeay! The latter is in the kitchen and is making my boyfriend heave, I honestly dont know what all the fuss of the smells about, smells like overripe mango to me :-) ..! Anyway, here’s that link, anyone who’s not sure what a mangosteen is, take a little look, its just a short video clip.. I’ll be sure to post any receipes too
