Suggestion: Private Messaging

    Hi xbillyx, we’re probably adding such a feature shortly, but it’s something we have to write the code for ourselves, so no promises as to how soon. We have more announcements on the way….

    Hi, Perhaps just a link to an email address? Unless you would like to do something a little more private? I LOVE this site though, Thank you for creating it. Kandace and Ray are the BEST. And I dont even know them. =)

    I agree, i think some social networking functionality would really take this site to a new level. I’m amazed at home much traffic my first recipe received, i’d love to communicate with some of the members that left comments, or track the recipe uploads of members that have a similar aesthetic.

    Totally get wanting PMs—it makes chatting about specific stuff way easier. On another forum, I ended up setting up a sip trunking provider for notifications between a few contacts, and it made private convos way smoother and quicker. Feels like having a small, reliable direct line, instead of posting everything publicly.
