I’m really getting in to raw foods after having been a cooked food vegan for 8 years. As a vegan, people have always been commenting on my “weird looking” food and I have always tried to inform them about the ingredients, arguments, scientific facts and the philosophy behind veganism in a humble way, careful not to make people feel as though I am trying to force my way of living on them. In my opinion this is the best way to make sure people keep an open mind and maybe, just maybe, start to reconsider their own food choices (or un-choices as I often think that SAD and such are). Now I really feel I need to learn all the facts and stuff about raw food so I actually know what I’m talking about. Unfortunately it’s not enough to say “I eat raw because it makes me feel great”, because people are such science junkies, so I need some hard facts! Does anyone have some advice on a good book or website that sums it all up? I have some books (Alissa’s, Rawvolution and Raw Food Raw World) but I don’t think they explain enough about the science behind raw food. Thankful for any tips!

Thanks Zoe! Great website, I’m gonna check it out the books and give those doubters a hard time!
