getting a cold...

Hi!

I was hanging out with a friend over the weekend who had a cold, then on Monday I went for my morning run only to get caught in a thunderstorm and was soaked and cold by the time I got home.

All last night and this morning I have been sneezing like crazy, and feel a cold coming on. Besides fasting (I have a school and work, and need the energy food gives me) is there any foods that can help!?

    There is a great winter wellness soup in the recipes. I’ve used it before & it works great!

    Hey, I don’t know how you feel about vitamins and herbal teas, but they really do help. You should take zinc, about 100 mg per day. or food that are high in zinc. Vitamin C is important, so eat lots of fruit that have high Vitamin C. When you have a cold, you should take aboy 10,000 mg of Vitamin C. Garlic helps too. Echinecea tea with raw honey, or/and kombucha tea. Hope you feel better!
