Water with naturally occurring effervescence is great. Pellegrino has CO2 added, which isn’t so great… a couple of the good ones are San Faustino, Gerolsteiner.
I was just at the Health Freedom Expo the other day and they had so many water vendors there. Basically ones that were selling the expensive water ionizing machines (i think that was what they were). Anyway, one place that an exhibit that had all the different bottled waters that are available today. The majority of them test very high on the acidity scale.
The Pellegrino was one of the worst for acicity. Also popular brands like Danasi and AquaFina. Evian was high too. I wish I could remember them all. Basically, aside from the expensive water filteration sytem they were selling, Fiji bottled water was one that was on the alkaline side (I think it got a 7 scale on the rating) and one other one which I can’t remember.
I’ll look it up and see if I can find a website if anyone is interested.
I wish I could afford the expensive water filteration system but I can’t. I use a Brita filter pitcher for my drinking water which I know isn’t the best but better than drinking tap water. :)
caapi, does it say on the bottle if co2 is added? pellegrino gives me the burps but wild oats, brand, and gerolstiener do not…hmmm, maybe the added co2? i dont have any in the house at the moment but will check out my usual brand tomarow.
queen fluff, i use brita too, we all do what we can huh? to quote a dear and blunt friend of mine”water tastes like five kinds of ass here in socal” I agree! teehee
