I have been mostly raw (maybe 80%) since around January of 2008. About a week ago, I became so nauseated, I could not keep raw food down (not even an orange), so I switched to cooked foods as a temporary means of coping until I felt better. A few days ago, however, I found out I am pregnant. Wonderful news, but this means that the nausea may be here for a while. I have a pretty decent case of morning sickness (around the clock) and while the thought of eating raw foods right now provokes my gag reflex, I really want to return to raw foods for the health of my baby and myself. I know there are some people out there who have gone through raw pregnancies. Has anyone also dealt with morning sickness? How can I transition back to raw? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
