Protein?

Hello all! I'm really new to raw - I actually haven't started to transition yet :)

I've been Vegan for a year now, and I'm really wanting to go raw the right way.

My question is this - how much protein does a person *need* ? I keep finding conflicting information about it. How does everyone get adequate protein on a raw or mostly-raw diet. I don't have access to a lot of fancy foods or health stores.....
