where to find ingredients??

Hello! My husband and I just switched to a raw diet about 2 weeks ago. Things are going great! I just had a question. We bought a raw foods 'cookbook' called Rawvolution, and many of the recipes require Coconut Water and Dulse Flakes. I have searched every store I can think of in the area, and only one carried pure coconut water. The trouble is, it was the size of a pop can, and for many of the recipes, it requires more than that, plus it seems, we will be using it a lot. Does anyone know of a place to buy it in bulk online? I am in the Washington area, so even if you know of a store, that would be helpful.

My second question is, how do I know if we are getting a well rounded raw diet? I feel we're doing what we can, but am afraid we may be missing crucial vitamins.

  • Wow! I entered in all my food from today on www.fitday.com, and it seems to me I've only eaten around 900 calories. Today was a lighter day than usual, but not that much lighter! Should I be having more? It also says I've only eaten about 1/2 of my nutrients, excluding Vitamin C which was WAY over the percentage!

    Any advice?

    Pixx- Awesome!! That is very helpful...I'm not sure I've ever actually seen a young coconut. I'm in Washington state, so they aren't quite as abundant as other areas, I'm guessing.
