Suggestions on dehydrating figs

Hi, has anyone tried dehydrating figs? I’ve got a zillion of them from a tree, but am not sure if I should cut them up or just put them in whole, or leave them out in the sun or what.

    I dehydrate mine usually cut in half or sliced sometimes with a brush of honey over the slices. I have not dehydrated anything in the sun but there is plenty of info on it out there. Make sure you use screening around them to keep the bugs off. I love figs, good luck to you.
