What now?

StefunkStefunk Raw Newbie

Alright, I’m still new enough to have a pretty basic question. I’ve started sprouting some sunflower seeds and I’m on day two. The quesiton is…What do I do now? They’re sprouting perfectly but I need ideas on how to use them. Thanks in advance for all the good advice I know I’ll be getting:O)

Hi Stef Do you have a dehydrator? If not, I would start out making salad dressing with them. Just water them down and add your favorite spices. The other recipe on this site that is good is the notuna.

If you keep letting them sprout, you will have a super tasty treat. Fully sprouted Sunflower sprouts are very tasty and you can eat them fresh on salads.

  • Hi Stefunk, I used sprouted sunflowers to make sunspice cookies. My recipe is on this website. Enjoy!

Make some delicious cheese. Put the sprouts in the food processor with some lemon juice, salt and olive oil and blend until smooth.

Hi stef here is the link for the tuno but you could substitute sunflower seeds for the almonds. http://www.goneraw.com/recipes/495-Tu-no

I made some today with half leftover carrot from juicing and it was great!
